We are seeking an Experienced Injection Molding Supervisor to work with our Plant Manager.

The successful candidate will bring 3-5 years of hands-on injection molding supervisory experience, the ability to set-up new presses and robots, and a track record of meeting and exceeding production KPIs, safety and quality standards, and managing a high performing team using lean principles and concepts.

Most importantly, this position must work with the management team to create a positive culture that drives safety, creates high expectations & excellent employee relations plus develops employees to achieve more.

Some of the Objectives and Responsibilities:

Set-up the injection molding presses and robots to begin production with 30 days.

Work with the Plant Manager, engineering team, and HR to define, hire, and train a team that has the knowledge and ability to start a new injection molding operation, plus make the necessary adjustments & improvements to produce strong results quickly, then continue to improve those results.

Work with the Plant Manager and Engineering team to write SOPs, training documentation, establish KPI’s, plus continually improve the processes.

Plan, organize, and supervise the daily production activities, plus work with the planning department to ensure the necessary inputs are available to meet the production immediate and anticipated production.

Work with maintenance to ensure the machines and equipment is properly maintained.

Anticipate risks and opportunities, the communication solutions and proposals

Requirements / Qualifications:

Ideally 5 years of recent and successful high volume Injection Molding Supervisory experience that includes robots. Experience in a new injection molding operation is desirable.

This includes experience helping to build a strong culture of high morale, high quality, high productivity, and employee development.

Possess the technical expertise to set-up injection molding presses & robots, change molds, and troubleshoot equipment necessary to perform the tasks and train team members.

Demonstrated proficiency of lean principles and continuous improvement.

Strong communication skills with at all levels, willingness to listen and learn, plus the ability to lead your team to implement any needed changes.
