Job Title: Clinical Nutrition Manager Job Summary: provides direction and guidance for overall clinical nutrition services program, ensuring conformance to food quality standards Essential Job Duties: •Supervises the clinical dietitian(s), diet technicians, diet office personnel and designated patient services supervisors •Manages staffing productivity to ensure attainment of budgetary goals •Establishes standards to ensure appetizing nutritious food is served to patients, including approving the menu. •Effectively communicates with nursing to ensure accuracy of diet order and timely delivery of patient trays and nourishments •Serves as a Key Member of the Management Team •establishing policies and procedures to ensure compliance to regulatory agencies, and maintaining effective communications with other departmental managers and interdepartmental liaisons •Ensures the delivery of the highest quality patient care by establishing standards for nutritional care, which reflects the current research. Education/Experience: •Bachelor's degree with completed dietetic internship and current registered dietitian status •Prefer at least 3 to 4 years of current experience in an acute care setting as a clinical dietitian Licensure/Certifications: •Registered Dietitian •Member of The Academy of Nutrition & Dietetics preferred ADA/Physical Demands: •To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
