Sustainability Analyst at St. Luke's Health System in Boise, Idaho, United States Job Description Overview St. Luke's Health System in Boise is seeking a Sustainability Analyst to join our Environmental Sustainability team. The Sustainability Analyst will be a 'connecter' and assist in data management, be the subject matter expert in the development and implementation of the ES communication/educational content materials, and will organize/coordinate activities to celebrate, highlight and advance the organization's ES work/goals. Required education and related experience: Bachelors 2 years (2) Associates 4 years (4) HS_Diploma 6 years (6) GED 6 years (6) (Key Experiences:Data analysis, project management, experience in environmental science field, development of sustainability related activities) Responsibilities Under limited supervision the Sustainability Analyst helps to advance the St. Luke's Health System (SLHS) sustainability vision and strategy by gathering, organizing, interpreting, and tracking data that supports the sustainability program. - Leads special projects and ongoing data collection to increase the comprehensiveness of the overarching sustainability program, which includes implementation of new sustainability software systems - Responsible for submission of data to prominent organizations that provide visibility to SLHS work, through awards and industry journals/conferences - Supports development and deployment of sustainability educational workshops (lunch n-learns), case studies, internships, and other communications - Works closely with marketing team to develop content and brand identity as needed. Writes intranet news articles and conducts interviews, collects data, to highlight sustainability work - Leads and invigorates the support of St. Luke's internal Green Team to promote and stimulate engagement for sustainability initiatives - Manages, organizes, and evolves SLHS Sustainability Intranet sites (Source & TEAMS) to promote awareness and ease of information sharing - Assists the environmental sustainability program in internal and external reporting requirements, such as the voluntary participation in Practice Greenhealth's Environmental Excellence Awards - Analyzes and interprets data from various sustainability initiatives into narratives for reports and other SLHS consumable formats - Completes annual audits such as environmental compliance, safer chemical, Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) prioritized projects - Participates in grant development opportunities as assigned.
