Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Pet Sitter to join our team. As a Pet Sitter, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care and attention to pets while their owners are away. This is a great opportunity for animal lovers who enjoy spending time with pets and ensuring their well-being. This job would not be for someone with a full time job, working long hours as the pets need care. An ideal candidate would work from home!

Requirements do include the following:

A passion for animals of ALL types!

Flexible schedule

Available nights and weekends is a must!

Working some holidays

Must be ok with a per diem/last minute type of schedule!

At least 18 years of age

Has a clean record

Has their own car/reliable transportation

Great with people too, as we do meet tons of fur parents!

Cell phone for communication with the myself and the owner of the pet

Able to walk dogs, feed all animals and know/provide basic care

MUST be ok with staying in a clients home and caring for the animal. There would be no leaving the pet for more than 2-3 hours at a time (maximum time gone should never exceed 6 hours total in a day) and ALWAYS in the home at night. Also, no kids/guests/friends etc. are allowed in the home for ANY reason!!

Drug screening will be a MUST

Must be reliable and trustworthy

This is an AS needed job! Spring and summertime are the busiest and vacations come so fast! References are required. This would mostly be boardings (where you stay in someone’s home to care for the animal) Tips are not always guaranteed, but if they are given, all tips are 100% yours!

Skills:
- Strong animal handling skills with the ability to safely interact with various types of pets
- Knowledge of animal care practices and understanding of pet behavior
- Experience in dog handling, including basic obedience commands
- Previous experience in pet sitting or working in a kennel or veterinary setting is a plus
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with pet owners

Pay: From $70.00 per day

Expected hours: 1 – 40 per week
