Delatorre Dentistry is Hiring a Dental Assistant Near Tampa, FL

General, Cosmetic and Family Practice is looking for a team oriented dental assistant. The candidate must be professional, enthusiastic with strong communication and organization skills. 3 years’ experience is required. Please do not apply if you are not a certified dental assistant with experience.
Requirements:
  • 5 Years Experience Required.
  • Team Orientated is a must.
  • Dental assisting certification (EFDA) and Radiology.
  • Proficiency in using dental software systems such as Dentrix/ Asend.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members.
  • Like to talk with patients.
  • Be able to effectively explain to patients why treatment is needed.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Be at the office by 7:35 am.
Days Needed: About 32 hrs per week
  • Mon-Thursday
  • Monday-Wednesday 7:30-5:30.
  • Thursday 7:30-2:30/3pm.
About Our Practice:
  • Privately Owned/ 1 dentist/ 2 hygienists/ 2 dental assistants.
  • Patient Care is our #1 Priority.
  • Fee for service practice/ not high volume or insurance driven.
  • Patient hours Mon-Wed 8-5 & Thursdays 8-2:30.
  • Westchase Area.
Responsibilities:
  • Assist the dentist during dental procedures.
  • Keep rooms stocked.
  • Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment.
  • Keep lab stocked and clean.
  • Proficiency in taking x-rays and using dental imaging systems (Dexis).
  • Digital scanning experience.
  • Invisalign Experience would be a plus.
  • Implant Restoration experience would be a plus.
  • Intraoral and extraoral photography experience.
  • Explain to patients their treatment plans.
  • Order supplies as needed.
  • Performing other duties as required to support the office/team.
