7OH2 Hospitality is seeking a professional, skilled, and guest service & safety-oriented Security Staff to join our dynamic hospitality group. As a dedicated team, we are eager to find individuals who are enthusiastic about being part of a truly innovative and special new concept, with an exciting group that is truly passionate about hospitality.

Our Security Staff’s basic job function is to ensure the safety of our team & each of our guests.

Compensation: $25 - $30/hr. – Based on Experience

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

● High school diploma or equivalent.

● Minimum of 3 years on a Security Team in a high volume & fast paced environment.

● Experience in Hospitality is STRONGLY preferred. (Bars, Clubs, restaurants, casinos, or entertainment venues)

● Must be professionally trained and have strong knowledge of to local & state laws.

● Alcohol Awareness Certification (TIPS).

● Excellent communication & people skills.

● MUST have a calm demeanor and patience when deescalating potential problem situations.

● Maintain regular, punctual attendance according to 7OH2 policy.

● Availability to work weekends & select Holiday’s as needed.

● Ability to multi-task.

● Strong attention to detail, cleanliness, & safety.

● Positive Attitude!!

Qualifications and Responsibilities:

● Attend all required meetings & trainings.

● Maintain high standards of personal appearance & grooming, which include always wearing the proper uniform.

● Follow food safety & sanitary guidelines issued by the Health Department.

● STRONG relationships in Downtown Detroit.

● Complete knowledge & verbiage of our Brands.

● Reconciling tables final bill per company policy.

ORAL /WRITTEN COMMUNICATION:

● Practices attentive and active listening with fellow team members.

● Listens without interruption and gets clarification.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

● Performing the physical demands of this position, associates are expected to observe and adhere to safety and security procedures, promoting a safe work environment.

○ Position is expected to:

■ Stand & walk more 80% of the time for up to and/or exceeding 6 hours.

■ Lift up to 50 pounds.

■ Push / pull up to 30 pounds.
