Responsibilities:
- Install, repair, and maintain irrigation systems for residential and commercial properties
- Inspect irrigation systems to identify and resolve any issues or malfunctions
- Program and adjust irrigation controllers to ensure proper watering schedules
- Perform regular maintenance tasks such as cleaning filters, replacing sprinkler heads, and repairing leaks
- Collaborate with landscape maintenance team to ensure proper irrigation coverage for lawns, gardens, and plant beds
- Operate hand tools and power tools to build and dig trenches for irrigation system installation
Requirements:
- Previous experience in landscape maintenance or irrigation system installation is preferred
- Knowledge of different types of irrigation systems and their components
- Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in irrigation system installation and repair
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints or diagrams for irrigation system layouts
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate installation and maintenance of irrigation systems
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks such as digging trenches and lifting heavy equipment
