About Us: Ftkhospitality is a premier hospitality management company dedicated to creating exceptional dining experiences. We are currently seeking an Opening Training Consultant for an upscale restaurant project in Philadelphia. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic team and contribute to the success of a new establishment opening this late spring-summer .
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive training programs for Front of House (FOH) and Back of House (BOH) staff.
- Train staff on standard operating procedures, service techniques, and product knowledge.
- Create training materials and manuals tailored to the specific needs of the restaurant.
- Conduct training sessions for both new hires and existing staff.
- Ensure all staff members are proficient in their roles before the restaurant's opening.
- Collaborate with management to identify training needs and areas for improvement.
- Maintain organized documentation of training activities and employee progress.
- Provide ongoing support and guidance to staff during the opening period.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in training and development within the hospitality industry, preferably in fine dining, upscale catering, or large events.
- Strong knowledge of restaurant operations, including both FOH and BOH procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality training programs.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and timelines.
- Catering background is a plus.
