The Apple Creek YMCA is hiring Early Childhood Growth & Development Assistant Teachers. Child care teachers interact positively & enthusiastically with children of all abilities. As Growth & Development teacher, you’ll support & help other staff in organizing the lessons, designed for children ages 2-6. Growth and Development classes are play-based, themed-learning, similar to a preschool environment, and also include art projects, songs, and other age-appropriate adventures.

This is a part-time position, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, 8:45 AM to 12:15 PM. Additional hours are available.

• Prior experience working with young children is preferred not required
• Applicants should be 18 years of age or older.
• Certification in CPR, First-Aid & AED or be willing to obtain through the YMCA once hired.
