Position Summary:

As a Project Engineer Intern you will have the opportunity to work on local construction projects in St. Louis. In this role you will be part of a team responsible for taking projects from conceptual stages through closeout.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build client and subcontractor relationships
• Team with Architects, Engineers, and Planners to create and manage a design schedule
• Assist in the establishment of project forecasts and budgets
• Manage costs
• Accept responsibility for project execution
• Learn fire suppression system design concepts

Qualifications:

• Must be actively enrolled in an undergraduate program at an accredited University.
• General knowledge of construction principles/practices required
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with an adaptable and flexible style in working with all types of individuals
• Experienced dealing with subcontracts, subcontractors and/or self-perform work is a plus
• Creative and results-oriented, with a strong sense of urgency
• Self-starter who can work well on a team
• Capable to walk the job site, climb ladders, and multi floor scaffolding
