Job Description: Security Specialist Unarmed Officer

Location: Port Sulphur, LA

Skills:

• Ability to stand and/or walk for long periods of time while ensuring access control points are secured
• Complete reports digitally for equipment checklists, use radio for hourly check-ins, and complete tasks and tours in an efficient and timely manner
• Ability to think independently and work remotely in some cases
• Unarmed security guard license
• Reliable transportation
• Basic Tablet/Smart Phone Applications Skills
• Clean Criminal Background
• Ability to walk long distances and stand for long periods of time
• Able to withstand all types of weather (hot, cold, rain, etc.)
• Ability to pick up to 50lbs
• 18-21 years of age for Unarmed positions, over 21 years of age for Armed positions or to drive company vehicles
• Valid TWIC card or ability to be approved for TWIC (In hand first day of work)

Job Type: Part-Time - 20-25 hours weekly

Schedule: 0100 am - 0500 am 

Education: High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

• Armed Security Guard/Corrections: 1 year (Preferred)
• Law Enforcement: 1 year (Preferred)
• Military: 3 years (Preferred)
• IT: 1 year (Preferred)
• Customer Service: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certifications:

• Unexpired Driver's License (Required)
• Louisiana Guard Card (Preferred)
• Clean Criminal Background (Required)
• Valid TWIC Card (Must have before the first day of employment)REQUIREMENT
• Clean Motor Vehicle Report (Required)

Benefit Conditions: Only Full-Time-time employees are eligible for company benefits (after 60 days of employment). The first 90 days of your employment will be under a probationary period. Individuals seeking to work a normal run-of-mill security job need not apply as only performers will be considered for future promotions.
