Reporting directly to the General Manager of River Camp Café, this team member will be responsible for preparing, smoking and cooking delicious barbecue meats, including brisket, pork, turkey, and sausage, ensuring high-quality food and exceptional guest satisfaction. Qualifications:
High School diploma is required. Must be at least 18 years old. Some prior grill and meat smoking experience preferred, with at least solid knowledge of intermediate barbecue technics for multiple meats, including prepping, seasoning, smoking, trimming, grilling, slow cooking, and the use of related cooking equipment. This position requires such knowledge in advance, and it will be expected. Candidates must have great multitasking skills and be able to work in a fast-paced environment, lift 25 lbs. or more, and stand and walk for extended periods of time. The position can require some weekend and holiday availability, and successful candidates will be required to submit to a criminal background check and drug test. This is a benefitted position. Compensation is commensurate with experience, with a base wage rate of $17.50 per hour.
