Job Overview:

We are looking for multiple Factory Operators to join our team and help us assemble products to the highest quality standards. The successful candidate will have experience in assembly line work and be able to work quickly and accurately. The Factory Operator will be responsible for following instructions, using tools correctly, and ensuring that all products meet safety and quality standards. Attention to detail and a commitment to excellence are essential for this role.

This is an on-site hourly position from June to mid-October 2024 and requires a presence at our Cle Elum, Washington facility. There is flexibility in establishing a set schedule, for up to 30 hours per week between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. Monday-Friday.

Bonus: $150 for each month worked.

Key Responsibilities:

• Follow instructions and diagrams to assemble parts and products.
• Use hand tools and power tools to assemble parts and products.
• Inspect parts and products for defects.
• Maintain a safe work environment.
• Perform quality checks on assembled parts and products.
• Maintain accurate records of production output.
• Troubleshoot assembly issues.

Preferred Requirements:

• Experience working with various materials including wood, steel, or aluminum is a plus.
• Proficiently read a tape measure down to 1/16” for production and verification processes.

Skills/Competencies:

• Flexible and willing to adjust to the changing needs of a fast-paced production environment.
• Attention to detail and commitment to following standardized work to maintain the highest level of quality standards.
• Being on time and ready to work is an essential function of employment.
• Must be mechanically inclined.

Work Environment

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to a warehouse environment and are required to wear the appropriate PPE (hearing protection, eye protection, gloves, etc.). While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to use hands and fingers to type or dial, climb, or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, and reach with hands and arms.

The employee must be able to push, pull, and lift to 50 pounds properly to prevent injury to yourself and others without damaging material/product. This position requires computer use. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, distance vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

Compensation:

Shoemaker Manufacturing/RectorSeal LLC has an effective process for assessing market data and establishing ranges to ensure we remain competitive. You are paid within the salary range based on your experience and market position.
The range for this hourly position is: $20.25
