Green Hills is Hiring an Utility Worker Near Ames, IA

Utility Worker – Part-Time, Tuesday & Thursday (8:30am-2:30pm) and Sundays (9:30am-2:30pm)

Salary Expectation: $15.50/ hour

Green Hills Community is recruiting for a hospitality focused Utility Worker to join our team! This role performs a number of kitchen activities including pot and pan washing, dishware and glassware washing, general cleaning duties and maintaining cleanliness and organization of all storage areas including coolers, freezers, and non-food storage rooms.

YOU ARE EXCITED ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY BECAUSE YOU WILL…

  • Support the kitchen by washing dishes and pots as well as perform general cleaning duties.
  • Distribute and store clean post, dishes, and utensils in appropriate locations in accordance with proper sanitary control.
  • Clean and sanitize production equipment, work surfaces, and kitchen areas.
  • Receive deliveries and check stock in appropriate areas.
  • Assist with catering functions, as needed.
