Big Picture: As the Part-Time IT Support, you will be responsible for our running and managing our afternoon help desk tickets. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of technical support experience. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

• Manage Help Desk tickets in a timely manner
• Reset passwords on a variety of systems
• Patch Management 
• Respond to employee issues via phone, email and computer chat
• Provide customer assistance
• Document customer interactions
• Run diagnostics to resolve customer reported issues
• Escalate issues to the next Tier with next level of difficulty
• Install, make changes and repair computer hardware and software
• Follow-up with employees to ensure issues are resolved

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements: 

• Minimum 1 year experience in a help desk or technical support role
• Availability to work in the afternoon, Monday – Friday, 3 pm – 7 pm with on call
• Proficiency with Windows and MS Office products
• Excellent oral communication skills
• Detail oriented in order to keep detailed notes on tickets
• Highly organized to keep Help desk tickets order
• Ability to diagnose and resolve basic computer technical issues

• Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, and company policy, as applicable.

Must be able to talk, listen and speak clearly on telephone, and in person, sometimes in high energy/highly charged emotional situations.
