The Ashley Oaks Homework Club is a unique program dedicated to aiding our community’s children in their educational journey. We provide crucial help to children in kindergarten through fifth grade in their homework each day, school projects and presentations, and accelerating their math and reading abilities. The assistant should be able to contribute to a safe, fun learning environment while providing homework help.

During the school year the assistant will be responsible for collecting the children off their buses and leading them to the facility each day, stocking and providing a snack and drink to the children and taking those done with their work outside. While outside, the assistant will be responsible for monitoring the children to maintain their safety.

During the summer, the program shifts into a day camp style program with a similarly aged set of children. The assistant should be able to help the director carry out and execute the daily schedule of education, activities, play, once weekly field trips off-property, and all policies and procedures to maintain safety and fun while learning something new each day!
