Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking individual to join our team as an Automotive Porter at Roswell Hyundai in Roswell, New Mexico. This is a Part-Time, hourly Technician/Skilled Labor/Contractor position in the auto industry. As an Automotive Porter, you will be responsible for providing support to our service department by performing a variety of tasks related to the maintenance and cleanliness of our vehicle inventory. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic and attention to detail.
Compensation & Benefits:
This is a part-time position and the hours will vary based on dealership needs. Compensation will be hourly and based on experience. As a contractor, this role is not eligible for traditional benefits such as health insurance or paid time off.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure all vehicles on the lot are clean and presentable for customers
- Maintain the organization and cleanliness of the service department and lot
- Move vehicles to and from the service department as needed
- Assist with moving and organizing new inventory as it arrives
- Perform basic maintenance tasks such as checking tire pressure and fluid levels
- Help with special projects or tasks as directed by management
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in the automotive industry is preferred but not required
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Physical ability to move and lift vehicles as needed
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to prioritize tasks
