The Goodkind Group is Hiring a Maitre D Near New York, NY
The ideal candidate will have worked in the role of maître'd or floor manager in a busy restaurant, lounge or nightclub and have a minimum of 3 years experience in a luxury hospitality setting. Our Client is looking for a natural leader who is polished, poised, communicates eloquently both in person and via email and is above all else a problem solver with experience running the door in a busy environment and dealing with highly demanding guests. You must know how to operate a restaurant reservations system like RESY, Open Table or the like and be able to map out reservations in such a manner to ensure optimizing the real estate. Nightlife experience is a plus. The current need is for Tuesday and Wednesday evening with some flexibilty to assists with time off requests.
