Requirements
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Prepare drink orders with precision and care, following specified recipes and using measuring systems.
- Provide exceptional service to guests and servers, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation are maintained.
- Maintain control over liquor inventory to uphold our quality standards.
- Maintain open availability, including evenings and weekends.
**Essential Job Functions:**
- Approach every interaction with guests and colleagues in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
- Maintain regular attendance and adhere to scheduling demands.
- Uphold high standards of personal appearance and grooming.
- Comply with hotel standards and regulations for safe and efficient operations.
- Comply with certification requirements, including Alcohol Awareness and Food Handlers.
- Perform opening and closing side work to ensure efficient service.
- Prepare beverages according to mixing, portion control, and presentation standards.
- Assist with maintaining beverage cost and operate the P.O.S. system proficiently.
- Scan each guest's ID and always ask for proper identification when necessary.
- Greet and acknowledge guests promptly with a warm smile.
- Offer menus to every guest and serve promptly with professionalism.
- Ensure the bar is clean, tidy, and well-maintained at all times.
- Follow check ringing procedures and offer refills before drinks are empty.
- Adhere to state liquor laws and maintain consistent pour sizes.
- Thank guests upon payment with genuine appreciation.
**Qualification Standards:**
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred, with experience in hospitality.
- Alcohol Awareness Certification in compliance with state regulations.
**Physical Requirements:**
- Ability to work long hours occasionally.
- Medium work - Ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 20 pounds of force frequently or constantly.
- Ability to stand for the entire shift.
