Certified Medication Aide (CMA)

Reports to: Director of Nursing

Location: Heartland Care Center

POSITION SUMMARY:Under on-site supervision of a licensed nurse, the Medication Aide administers oral and topical medications to residents, as ordered by a physician, in accordance with state and federal rules and regulations. Operates within the constraints of established policy and procedure consistent with accepted/allowed standards of practice relevant to certification.

ANTICIPATED SCHEDULE: 16 to 28 Hours Weekly, Shift:2pm to 10pm, Part Time
