Title:Administrative Assistant to Religious Education, Part-time (20 hours a week)

Reports to: Business Manager/Pastor

Overview

This position provides administrative support to the Religious Education in a very busy Parish.

Responsibilities

• Answering phone calls and redirect them when necessary
• Record and maintain all catechists and religious education volunteer records
• Support catechists by directing them to resources and resolving issues 
• Maintain the daily/weekly/monthly agenda and help arrange events 
• Prepare and update forms and paperwork as needed for Religious Education department and events
• Assist CRE with development and implementation of policies and practices 
• Update and maintain a paper filing system and organized computer files
• Communicate with students, parents, catechists and staff as needed 
• Check the levels of office supplies and place appropriate orders
• Updates ParishSoft as needed
