Job Summary:
Senior Helpers located in Geneva is seeking a caring and compassionate Care Professional to join our growing team serving Kendall and Kane Counties in Illinois. As a Care Professional, you will provide assistance and support to our elderly clients, helping them to maintain their independence and enhance their quality of life. This position is part-time and hourly, providing flexibility in scheduling and a competitive rate of $15-17 per hour, depending on experience and certifications.

Responsibilities:
- Provide non-medical care and assistance to elderly clients in the Kendall and central/southern Kane County area
- Assist with activities of daily living, such as grooming, bathing, dressing, and toileting
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed
- Perform light housekeeping duties, including laundry and changing bed linens
- Provide companionship and engage in meaningful conversation with clients
- Accompany clients to appointments and assist with transportation
- Document daily care activities and report any changes in client's condition to the Care Manager
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in healthcare or related field
- Compassionate and empathetic nature
- Ability to communicate effectively and work well in a team
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screening
- Reliable transportation and valid driver's license
