Requirements:
EDUCATION:
Must have a minimum associate degree in Radiology or graduate from an accredited two-year radiology program.
LICENSE/CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
Must be certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiography (R) and Computed Tomography (CT) and hold a Kentucky State Radiation Operators Certificate. BLS is required within 30 days of employment.
SKILLS/ABILITIES:
Skill in operation of CT equipment as well as applicable ancillary equipment.
Ability to work independently and multitask.
Ability to provide documentation accurately and concisely.
Demonstrates understanding of human cross-sectional anatomy, physiology, pathology, radiopharmacology, and medical terminology.
Knowledge of computer applications, including information and billing systems, keyboard input, digital archiving, and data retrieving.
