Twin Lakes Counseling is an insurance-based group psychotherapy practice in Federal Way, Washington. We are dedicated to making transformative mental health counseling and family therapy accessible to our community and are especially equipped to serve clients who want to use their insurance to seek treatment. We are looking for fully licensed clinical supervisors with at least two years of fully-licensed clinical experience for full and part-time positions. Requirements include being fully licensed (or license eligible) in a mental health profession (LMFT, LMHC, LICSW, etc) and eligible to supervise in Washington State. (Supervision training is not a requirement -- we will pay for the training!)

This position can be full-time or part-time, based on the income needs of the supervisor. We are looking for someone who can provide clinical supervision to 6-12 clinicians (generally 10-20 hours per week of supervisory activities) but full time candidates may also carry a clinical caseload that allows for up to 20 additional paid clinical hours per week.

The ideal candidate will have experience supervising clinician's development and a passion for making therapy accessible to all communities. Some understanding of insurance would be helpful (although extensive support and training is provided by our billing team) and an incredibly high level of comfort with technology is required. The ideal candidate will have a niche(s)--such as children, couples, trauma, EMDR, family, etc.--and be willing to offer trainings to our larger team of clinicians in this area. The ideal candidate will also be willing to spend at least one day per week in the office to support in office clinicians (this is not a requirement, but preferred). Candidates must be independent, driven, collaborative, and able to enhance our fun, connected, and positive-minded team of therapists. Minority and bi-lingual candidates encouraged to apply.

Twin Lakes Counseling's clinical supervisors are paid as W-2 employees, and full administrative, credentialing, and billing support is provided. Holding a clinical caseload is not a requirement, but supervisors may opt to also see clients up to 20 hours a week at a clinical rate of pay (clinical pay starts at $50 per client hour). No outside clients may be seen simultaneously in outside private practice, due to the marketing and credentialing provided by the organization. Hours are flexible within the requirements of the position. This position includes a training allowance, paid sick time, retirement matching, tax-free student loan payment reimbursement, and health insurance.

Position description:

• Supervise up to 6 masters-level interns OR up to 12 associate clinicians (or an equivalent combination)
• Meet weekly for supervision with interns; every other week for associates, ensuring the supervision meets requirements of each supervisee's various university or licensure guidelines
• Sign off on notes, audit files, respond to clinician crises within 24 hours, and ensure a high level of clinical care for TLC's clients
• Complete clinical evaluations and paperwork for supervisees, as required by universities and the state licensure board
• Participate in recruitment, hiring, and onboarding of intern and associate supervisees (may include, but not limited to, attending internship days, networking with colleagues, attending conferences, reviewing applications, interviewing applicants, and/or developing a recruitment plan)
• Manage clinician time off, room reservations, and employment policies for clinical supervisees
• Work with our billing team to become paneled/credentialed with all insurances Twin Lakes Counseling accepts within first 6 months of employment
• Attend staff meeting weekly and assist Clinical Director in providing trainings and clinical consultation for staff during this time
• Participate monthly in team supervisor meetings
• Optional: Carry a caseload of clients that allows for up to 20 hours per week of clinical pay (starting at $50 per session)

Position requirements:

• Masters or Doctorate degree in a mental health counseling or family therapy discipline
• Licensed or license-eligible and qualified to be a state-approved supervisor in the State of Washington
• At least two years of clinical experience as an independently-licensed clinician
• Eligible to be credentialed by all insurances accepted by TLC
• Able to complete CAQH & ProviderSource profiles within two weeks of hire
• At least 12-month commitment to the practice (fully paid), to allow time for credentialing and supervisee recruitment

Preferred qualification:

• AAMFT Approved Supervisor or supervisor-in-training (or willing to become one, at the company's expense)
• Fully licensed LMFT, LMHC, LICSW, or clinical psychologist in the State of Washington
• Registered with CAQH (previous paneling with some insurance companies is a plus)
• Familiarity with accreditation requirements of COAMFTE and/or CACREP clinical programs is a plus
• Prior private practice or group practice experience
• Ability to offer bilingual therapy and/or supervision
