JOB DESCRIPTION
TITLE: Personal Care Assistant (PCA)/Paraprofessional - Extracurricular

This position requires an individual with flexibility based on extra-curricular schedule and student participation. Hours will be after school or in the evenings for Extracurricualr based events (for example: Marching Band practice/ perofrmances).
QUALIFICATIONS: Any combination of education and experience providing the required skill and knowledge for successful performance

High School diploma required.
Successful completion of college level coursework or passing score on the Comprehensive Assessment of Paraprofessional Educators (CAPE), or ability to complete High Qualified required via training opportunities offered by the District.
Prior experience working with students with disabilities.

REPORTS TO: Building Principal or designee
GOALS: To provide one-on-one student assistance to maintain appropriate and equitable participation in extracurricular activities
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:

Part time, after school or evening hours based on student need and participation. Must be flexible depending on changes to activity schedule and student participation. Hourly pay and other conditions of employment in accordance with current District applicable policies and the York Suburban Educational Support Personnel agreement.
