Position Description:
The Resident Monitor plays a critical role in the daily orderly operation of our Manhattan-based family shelter. The role will maintain a safe and secure environment for residents, staff and visitors at WPA’s DHS-funded 28-family shelter for women and children with/without criminal legal involvement. Resident Monitors also work closely with residents on supporting their day-to-day independent living plan goals, teaching and modeling strategies for living independently in the community.
The Resident Monitor will be organized, technically savvy, adaptable, and enjoy collaborating with a team in providing support and essential services to families residing in temporary shelter.

Compensation for this role is $20/hour commensurate with education and experience. WPA offers a competitive benefits package including health insurance, employer paid dental insurance, extremely generous paid time off, 403(b) and paid leave, as well as:
