About the position: This position will be assigned to the Polar Bowl bowling center on Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, AK.
Regular Part-Time employees have a regular and continuous work schedule of at least 20 hours to a maximum of 40 hours per week. You are eligible for the following benefits and compensation: Health and Life Insurance, Awards, Leave, Retirement, 401K, Overtime Pay, Workers' Compensation, Shift Differential, Sunday Premium Pay, and Holiday Pay.
Sets up and coordinates schedules and facility for competitive bowling league events, tournaments, and special events. Arranges necessary publicity. Establishes and maintains current schedule of events, maintains and posts team standings. Corresponds with bowling leagues to ensure activities are in compliance with ABC/WIBC rules. Prepares cash drawers for shift cashiers. Makes change for cashiers and rings out registers. Prepares cashier report daily. Keeps daily accounting record of bowling facilities monies. Performs courier duties to bank. Maintains logs, prepares Time and Attendance cards.
Assists in inventories of Pro-shop and snack bar. Assists in placing orders with civilian businesses for necessary equipment and supplies. Provides on-shift coordination of bowling program activities and to perform complex clerical and administrative tasks for the bowling facility. Works under the supervision of the Bowling Facility Manager who makes assignments, approves leave, and rates performance. Within guidelines provided by the supervisor, exercises initiative and independent action in the conduct of the facility activities. Complies with regulations.
May be required to work shifts, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
May be required to sell Alcoholic beverages upon request from customer.
Performs other duties as assigned.
