Location: Rahway, New Jersey

Shift: 7:00 am - 3:00 pm

Duration: Temporary (3 months) with opportunity for ongoing, based on availability

Schedule: Weekends frequent Monday, Tuesday and Wednesdays

Pay: $45 per hour

Payment Frequency: WEEKLY

Job Description:

As an LPN at our Skilled Nursing Facility, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality care to our elderly residents. You will work closely with our team of nurses and healthcare providers to monitor and assess residents' health conditions, administer medications, perform wound care, and assist in other medical procedures as required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care to residents under the supervision of Registered Nurses (RNs) or Nurse Managers.
• Administer medications and treatments prescribed by physicians.
• Monitor residents' vital signs and record health observations.
• Assist in developing care plans and update them as needed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure the overall well-being of residents.
• Maintain accurate documentation and electronic health records.
• Comply with all state and federal regulations and facility policies.

Qualifications:

• Valid LPN license issued by the State of New Jersey.
• Experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility or Long-Term Care setting is preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to ensure accuracy in documentation.
