This role will directly support the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) in conducting assessments for determination of disability benefits for Veterans applying for benefits from the VA.
About the Position
The Optometrist will perform an in-person visit with the Veterans to perform evaluations to complete the required Disability Benefits Questionnaire (DBQ) for submission to VA for eligibility determination. The Optometrist will be responsible for providing complete high quality optometric/vision care services to patients and performing evaluation of the eyes and provide medical opinion.
