Job Overview:
The Gateway School is a small independent preschool in Wynnewood, Pennsylvania. We first opened in 1947. We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Kindergarten Assistant Teacher to join our Kindergarten team. As a Kindergarten Assistant, you will play a vital role in shaping the minds of young learners and creating a positive and engaging learning environment. This is a part-time position with competitive pay commensurate with experience. This would be a great position for someone who is in the process of becoming an educator.

Duties:
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to support student success

- Foster a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment that promotes social-emotional development
- Utilize effective teaching strategies to engage students in active learning
- Maintain a safe and organized classroom environment
- Supervise recess and lunch

Skills:
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with students, parents/guardians, and colleagues
- Ability to provide nurturing care
- Experience working in childcare or educational settings with young children
- Passion for educating young learners and fostering their growth and development
