EMPLOYEE OWNER POSITION PURPOSE

The Delivery Driver position exists to deliver aftermarket automotive parts and accessories over established routes or within an established territory. The driver must pull and stage from stock in the warehouse and drive a non-commercial delivery van to deliver the products to our customers.


ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Accurately pull product from warehouse stock and stage outgoing orders for delivery
  • Load and unload parts from delivery van and accurately confirm inventory that was delivered or returned
  • Drive non-commercial delivery van/truck to various customer locations to deliver product
  • Collect COD and credit card payments from customers on delivery route
  • Perform housekeeping to maintain a clean and safe working environment

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must have a current drivers license, 3 years driving experience with an acceptable motor vehicle record (MVR) per our Insurance company standards
  • Customer and Personal Service Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
  • Good active listening skills
  • Organization and time management
  • Ability to operate a smart phone to collect customer payments and access company timekeeping system

Schedule:

  • OVERNIGHT TRAVEL Tuesday-Wednesday
  • 16-20 Hours per week

  • The ability to exert maximum muscle force to lift, push, pull, or carry objects
  • The ability to quickly move your hand, your hand together with your arm, or your two hands to grasp manipulate, or assemble objects
  • Ability to run, maneuver, navigate or drive a vehicle
  • Ability to perform physical activities that require considerable use of arms and legs and moving whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling of materials
