We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Part-Time Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team. As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will work closely with our licensed Physical Therapists to provide high-quality care and treatment to our patients. Job duties include but are not limited to:
- Assist the Physical Therapist in implementing treatment plans and exercises for patients
- Provide hands-on therapy to patients, including therapeutic exercises and stretches
- Monitor and document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
- Educate patients on proper techniques for performing exercises and activities at home
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as physicians and occupational therapists, to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Assist with patient transfers and positioning during therapy sessions
- Maintain a clean and organized therapy area
