St Mary's Healthcare System for Children is Hiring a School Based ABA Technician Near Roslyn, NY

Extraordinary Pediatrics, PC. is a professional corporation managed by St. Mary’s Hospital for Children. St. Mary's Hospital for Children is an integrated network of inpatient, outpatient, homecare, community and school based services which contributes to the make up of St. Mary’s Healthcare System.

Extraordinary Pediatrics, PC, provides Physical, Occupational and Speech Therapists, Psychologists, Special Educators, BCBA’s and ABA Specialists to schools, homes and other settings. We pride ourselves on our commitment and value to staff development and offer opportunities for BCBA Interns and ongoing training and support for RBT’s.

Extraordinary Pediatrics, PC is seeking energetic, individuals to work providing evidence-based, behavioral therapy to children on the autism spectrum under the supervision of a Behavior Analyst. We are in need of school based professionals to work collaboratively in the classroom setting and 1:1 with identified students as per district mandates.

Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree AND one year of supervised experience working with children ages 2-21 on the Autism Spectrum
  • Experience implementing home based and community ABA programs preferred
  • Registered Behavior Technician Certification preferred

Job Responsibilities:

  • Deliver 1:1 instruction consistent with best practice in ABA therapy and or provide 1:1 or group services in a classroom setting as per IEP and or district needs.
  • Collect and graph daily data using an online data collection system
  • Timely documentation of each session
  • Ability to be consistent and on time to session

Locations: Roslyn/ North Shore

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $22.00 - $35.00 per hour
