Greet and welcome our guests
Check the service stations and tables to ensure accurate set-up and cleanliness
Assist the restaurant dining services (if necessary), when and where appropriate
Perform all necessary side work, setup, and breakdown of the bar
Clean and change trash cans, fill and clean ice bins, stock beer, wine, juice, and other beverages
Clean shelving, stainless steel, mixers, cups, blenders, and soda guns
Unpack deliveries, stock bar and change beer kegs
Clean glassware and dishes in an efficient fashion
Restock bar during service at request of bar staff
Responsible for bussing and resetting of tables as needed
Assist with preparation of food items for outlet and event service
Assist with breakdown and cleaning of food stations upon conclusion shift
Responsible in assisting with training of new associates
Responsible for completion of checklists for duration of shift
Maintain and empty grease bin and strainer basket each shift
Adherence to the attendance policy and procedures
Other duties as assigned
SECONDARY REQUIREMENTS
Provides exceptional Guest Service
Bus and set tables, including condiments as needed
Prepare room for events: set tables, linen cloth chaffing dishes, sternos, dishes, silverware, beverage station, as needed
Responsible for break down of beverage stations, and food stations upon conclusion of the event. Assist with break down of other event related items as needed (linen, chaffing dishes)
Upon breakdown of event, responsible for bringing items (dishware, serve ware, glassware, utensils) to dish pit and assist with washing as needed
Must be familiar with all menu items, their preparation and service procedure
Assist with preparation and transporting food and beverage items from kitchen to event space and placing in appropriate place on the buffet
Ensure buffet and stationary platters remain replenished throughout duration of the event
Serve guests food and drinks during event as required
Abide by all State, Federal and Corporate liquor regulations pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages to minors and intoxicated guests
Accommodate any needs for reasonable special requests
Rearranges and installs furniture throughout building as needed and based on the client and events needs
Follow directions as detailed from director of sales and/or food and beverage manager
Complete Banquet Check List during every scheduled banquet shift
Other duties as assigned
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
1 year of experience in a similar or supportive role is preferred
Food Handler and Alcohol Awareness Certification (if applicable)
Able to prioritize multiple tasks in a dynamic environment
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Able to work flexible hours and shifts
Ability to communicate effectively verbally
Team player
Ability to multi-task
