Position Overview:
As a Plumber at Opus Communities, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the plumbing systems within our multi-family apartment complexes are operating efficiently and effectively. You will be responsible for performing routine maintenance, repairs, and installations to uphold our commitment to providing high-quality living spaces for our residents.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in diagnosing and repairing plumbing issues within the apartment complexes.
- Assist in installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing fixtures, such as sinks, toilets, and showers.
- Assist in inspecting and testing plumbing systems to ensure they meet regulatory and safety standards.
- Collaborate with maintenance teams to address plumbing-related maintenance requests in a timely manner.
- Keep accurate records of plumbing repairs and maintenance activities.
- Assist in sourcing and purchasing plumbing supplies and materials as needed.
- Identify opportunities for system improvements and efficiency enhancements.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a plumber helper, preferably in a multi-family apartment complex or similar setting.
- Some knowledge of local plumbing codes and regulations.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Physical ability to lift heavy materials and perform physically demanding tasks.
