- Manage accounts payable, processing vendor invoices and ensuring timely payments.
- Conduct month end account reconciliations to verify the integrity of account balances.
- Assist accounts receivable manager, recording of customer payments and preparation of deposits.
- Process payroll time keeping and records, ensuring accurate recordings of employee time and vacation days.
- Maintain sales commission statements on a monthly basis.
- Work closely with sales department entering and processing orders.
- Ad hoc assignments as they arise.
- Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a higher position or similar role.
- Very good communication skills.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
