Employee Health (EH) Nurse: Plan and coordinate the Hospital-wide EH program based on hospital-specific needs, CDC guidelines, OSHA and CAL-OSHA regulations, CMS requirements, Joint Commission standards. Coordinate EH programs for all healthcare workers, including TB screening, Fit Testing and respiratory protection, and Vaccinations. Follow-up on BBP exposures and exposures to communicable diseases.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education/Licensure: Current California LVN or RN license
Minimum Experience: 2 years experience in an acute care setting or hospital off-site medical facility, or equivalent. Experience in Occupational Health, Employee Health, Infection Control, or Quality Management preferred. Must be experienced and comfortable with multiple computer programs.
Certification: MAB upon hire or within 90 days of employment.
Physical Demands: Light physical effort (lift/carry up to 10 lbs); Occasional prolonged standing or walking.
