Holiday Inn and Suites Kalamazoo West is looking for Experienced, detail-oriented Housekeepers to join our team! Do you have previous experience working in Housekeeping or in Janitorial? We take our housekeeping standards seriously. Therefore, we are searching for Room Attendants and a House Person with an exceptional eye for detail and a passion for perfection to make sure every guest enjoys a truly memorable experience.

Room Attendant

A little taste of your day-to-day

Every day is different, but you will mostly be:

● Making sure every single room is at its absolute best for our guests

● Helping our guests in any way you can – whether they’ve forgotten their toothbrush or just need to find the elevator

● Keeping your supervisor in the loop by advising them of any progress or problems

● Monitoring and controlling supplies to minimize waste

● Doing your best to reunite guests with any lost or misplaced items

● Regularly assisting with deep clean projects

● Effectively operate and maintain the hotel equipment related to daily tasks

● Maintain common area, interior and exterior cleanliness to brand and company standards

● Handle deliveries and pick up of supplies, as needed.

What we need from you

● It’s a physical role and you’ll be on your feet most of the day, so fitness is important

● Occasional lifting of items up to 50 pounds and/or push and pulling heavy objects

● You will need to bend and kneel to complete some activities

● Flexible attitude to shifts – you may be required to work nights, weekends and/or holidays

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $14.00 - $14.50 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 36 per week
