Job Summary
We are seeking a Caregiver to join our team! Halo Specialized Home Care is a licensed, Non-Medical Home Care agency serving the Monterey Peninsula and surrounding areas. We specialize in providing the highest quality of care by the most respected and qualified caregivers in our industry.
In this role, you will make a difference in the days of a 70-year-old woman by enhancing her quality of life! Responsibilities include assisting with hygiene needs, light housekeeping and other tasks that improve her living environment and standards. The ideal candidate is patient, compassionate, experienced, and reliable.
The schedule for the following position is: Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday 12p-4p (12-hours/week)
Location: Monterey, CA
Responsibilities

• Transport client to appointments (including her wheel chair)
• Assist with personal hygiene needs and dressing
• Assist with mobility, walking, and physical therapy exercises
• Light housekeeping activities
• Provide companionship
• Drive to doctor appointments

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Caregiver, Home Health Aide, or similar role
• Familiarity of diabetes a plus!
• Knowledge of basic housekeeping tasks
• Ability to adhere to all health and safety guidelines
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Compassionate, respectful, ethical
• Good time management
