Night time work scheduleThis position works overnight hours and weekendsThe News-Press in Fort Myers is seeking an Operations Coordinator to work within our Distribution Department. This is an entry level opportunity that is responsible for orientating carrier prospects, delivering newspapers not currently under contract, working with current contractors on improving service metrics and assisting with any questions or concerns contractors may have. This role is vital to ensure our customers receive correct and timely delivery of the products they have purchased. The ideal candidate will be comfortable navigating and delivering products anywhere throughout Lee County. This opportunity is will focus on being out in our delivery footprint every shift. This role will spend most of the time in the field delivering newspapers, assisting contractors and verifying product. New hire training will include becoming familiar with the warehouse operation, email, paperwork, site specific applications and software. This individual will conduct themselves in accordance with company policies and procedures; ensure quality customer service and professional representation when dealing with customers, retailers or the general public; use sound judgment and discretion at all times.Qualified candidates will be able to work 3rd shift hours with weekends required and Holidays as needed. Operations Coordinators are Part-Time 20-29 hour a week employees.
