Server

Our Servers are the owners of our guest's dining experience. This role is to make our guests feel genuinely welcomed and taken care of by consistently delivering and role modeling the 7 Secrets to Creating Compliments. The Server helps ensure the guest feels part of the Frisch's Family -- creating a feeling of care and comfort -- simply a feeling of being at home. This experience will be a one-of-a-kind experience the guest can only get at their Frisch's.

Knowledge, Qualifications, Skills, Experience, Education Needed

· Excellent customer service and communication skills, must be able to read, write and comprehend English

· Passion for connecting with people; genuine in their enthusiasm to serve the guest; maintains an upbeat positive attitude, high level of tolerance and patience

· Demonstrates salesmanship with guests

· Must be a 'team player' and be able to multi-task with strong attention to details

· Good memory, math and organizational skills

· Food Safety Training

· Experience with restaurant POS software

Physical Demands & Work Environment

• Environment is interior of restaurant typically on carpeted and/or tile floors with changing surfaces (spills, grease, and debris)
• Must be able to stand, bend, stoop, kneel, reach, push, pull, climb stair, and occasionally lift and carry up to 30 pounds
• Must be able to move freely throughout the restaurant facility without assistance
• Role requires mobility of hands, fingers, wrists and elbows
• Good hearing, visual and speaking skills
• Ability to be on feet during entire shift
• Maintain good personal hygiene
• Must be able to handle sharp knives, cutting equipment periodically using safety gloves (depending on role)

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $14.00 per hour
