East Gate Kids is Hiring a Sunday School Teacher Near Albuquerque, NM
Join us at East Gate Church as a Sunday school teacher and play a vital role in nurturing the spiritual growth of our students. If you are a motivated and creative individual with a passion for teaching, we want you on our team.
Responsibilities:
- Develop engaging lesson plans aligned with the curriculum
- Lead weekly Bible lessons and educational activities
- Assist in fundraising events for the Sunday school department
- Create educational plays and skits
- Attend weekly and monthly meetings with fellow teachers and management
- Address student needs and issues effectively
- Maintain a clean and welcoming learning environment
- Assign and explain homework assignments
- Support children in completing projects
- Manage attendance records diligently
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years experience in teaching or related roles
- Previous experience as an educator is a plus
- Actively involved in church and community activities
- Proficiency in developing lesson plans
- Availability to teach classes ones a week, including Sundays
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
