Responsibilities:

• Assess client's physical fitness and readiness for training. This includes exercise history, health history, and current health and fitness level.
• Uphold professional and respectful relationships with clients. This includes creating rapport, professional communication, and motivational support that matches the client's needs.
• Engage in active listening to define client goals clearly to encourage greater program success.
• Provide training programs based on fact and current science in the field of Exercise Science and Sports Medicine. Programs should be tailored to the individual client's needs.
• Support total body health by providing adaptive motivation, teaching proper movement, and answering general nutrition related questions. Referral outside of the facility is necessary if an issue lies outside of a trainer's scope of practice.
• Track exercise sessions and program success in an organized way.

Salary $21--35/hour

Requirements:

• Eighteen years of age or older.
• At least hold completed high school degree, or the equivalent. Some collegiate level education is preferred.
• All Personal Trainers must hold a current Personal Training Certification from an accredited organization. This can include, ACSM, NASM, NSCA, ACE, NETA, & AFFA.
• All Personal Trainers must hold a current CPR certification. Trainers will have a grace period of 60 days to renew CPR certifications if they become expired while training for Bridgeton.
• A reliable form of transportation.
