General Summary

The Production Associate assigned to Duralam works with multiple raw materials to produce, trim, and package products required to finish kitchen cabinets.

Primary Responsibilities

• Read and follow work orders.
• Measure product and cut to order size with table saw.
• Trim laminate using utility knife.
• Identifies defects and next steps when found.
• Package finished vinyl.
• Transport finished goods to holding area or Shipping Department using a forklift.
• Perform work in a safe manner following work instructions.
• Work closely with Scheduler and operations on daily schedules.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Ability to effectively use tools such as: tape measures, utility knife, table saw, etc.
• Ability to read and understand work instructions.
• Must be responsible, dependable, honest, and ethical.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and quality
• Ability to problem solve.
• Team player with a positive attitude.
• Customer service driven to meet quality standards and deadlines.
• Safety minded.
• Forklift experience preferred.
