Bank of Springfield is Hiring a Part Time Courier Near Springfield, IL
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
* Travels to Bank of Springfield branches in Springfield and Chatham to deliver mail to recipients at each location.
* Employee may be responsible for vehicle care including but not limited to gas fill up, oil changes, and car wash as needed.
* Following proper opening and closing procedures to maintain facility security.
* As time allows employee will assist with shredding, filing, and operation of the postage machine for outgoing mail.
* Other projects/deliveries as assigned.
Qualifications
* High school diploma or equivalency
* Basic knowledge of bank policies and procedures
* Basic communication skills
* Must have a valid Driver's License and proof of insurance.
Physical Demands
* Individuals may need to sit or stand as needed
* Walking primarily on a level surface for periods throughout the workday.
* Reaching above shoulder heights, below the waist, or lifting as required filing documents or storing materials throughout the workday.
* May include lifting up to 50 pounds on occasion. Proper lifting techniques required.
* Hours for this position will be 12-16 hours/week.
