Job Summary:

Basic Engineering Concepts & Technologies, Inc. (BecTech) is a Small Business Program Management and Engineering Services provider to Department of Defense (DoD) Agencies. BecTech is seeking professional candidates to fill the position of part-time Security Manager (Remote).

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide expertise in security documentation and planning, security incident management, security compliance and verification, security awareness and coordination.
• Draft and review key security documents, such as Security Classification Guide (SCG), Program Protection Plan (PPP), Risk Acceptance Letters, and Emergency Action Plans (EAPs).
• Collaborate with the Security Integrated Product Team (IPT) to investigate and document security incidents from inception to resolution and analyze root causes and implement corrective measures.
• Verify and validate program office security requirements, including but not limited to safe and shredder provisioning and maintenance and compliance with security checklists and protocols.
• Develop and deliver security briefings to relevant personnel.
• Manage and process visit requests, ensuring adherence to security protocols.

Required Education/Experience:

• 7 years of experience required; More than 7 years of experience preferred.
• Experience in the fields of physical, industrial, information and personnel security preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to follow direction and work within a team.
• Good interpersonal, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Possess good communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
• Able to obtain and retain a security clearance.

ADA SPECIFICATIONS:

• Regular physical activity to include walking, climbing stairs, and standing; frequent period of prolonged sitting may be required.
• Ability to speak, read, hear, and write, with or without assistance.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

• Travel: Less than 5% expected
