Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team. As an LPN, you will play a crucial role in providing quality patient care and assisting in the overall coordination of healthcare services. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a difference in the lives of patients and their families. Setting is family home, male patient who is developmentally disabled and medically complex with Tracheostomy and feeding tube. Shift is 5pm-5am Sunday and Tuesdays needed.

Responsibilities:
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor and record vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, and temperature
- Assist with patient assessments and document findings
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement care plans
- Provide patient education on various health topics, including family planning and senior care
- Perform tracheostomy care, suctioning and gastric tube care
- Ensure accurate documentation of patient information and maintain confidentiality
- Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a clean and safe environment

Qualifications:
- Valid LPN license in FL
- Minimum 1 year experience in a healthcare setting required
- Current basic life support (BLS) procedures (CPR)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities effectively
- Proficient in electronic medical record (EMR) systems
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
