The State’s Attorney’s Office is seeking applicants to fill entry level part-time office clerk positions. Provides administrative and clerical support to attorneys and victim coordinators to maintain an efficient office environment.

Location: Annapolis and/or Glen Burnie

Hours: Monday-Friday, 10 am - 4:30 pm (30 hours a week)

Essential Job Functions

  • Answering and directing phone calls
  • Filing documents correctly into paper and/or electronic files
  • Scanning documents into electronic case management system
  • Opening and distributing paper and/or electronic correspondence
  • Typing documents and correspondence
  • Checking and entering data
  • Updating and maintaining databases
  • Use of multiple software platforms including Maryland Judiciary Case Search, MDEC and PbK case management system

Required skills

  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Time management and ability to prioritize work
  • Problem solving and adaptability
  • Team work
  • Confidentiality
  • Experience with Excel, Word and Powerpoint and/or Google Docs, Sheets and Slides

Minimum Qualification

  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
  • Must pass background check
