We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated par-time caregiver to provide support and assistance to individuals living with dementia or Alzheimer's disease. The ideal candidate will have experience in caregiving, particularly with dementia and Alzheimer's patients, and possess the patience and empathy necessary to meet the unique needs of this population.

Responsibilities:

• Companionship: Provide emotional support and engage in meaningful conversations.
• Daily Assistance: Help with meal preparation, light housekeeping, and medication reminders.
• Outings and Appointments: Accompany clients to appointments and outings.

Requirements:

Education/Skills Requirements:

• Credentials: First Aid and TB test (optional), with in-services.
• Prior experience in caregiving: with specific experience in dementia or Alzheimer's care preferred.
• Background Check.
• Physical Ability: Capable of performing duties of the position.
• Nutrition Knowledge: Basic understanding for meal planning.
• Reliable transportation.
