Part-Time Sales and Customer Service Coordinator

Under the supervision of the Sales Administrator, the Part-Time Sales Coordinator will primarily provide customer service and sales support to customers within the Hampel Animal Care segment and territory sales managers. Provide back-up support, as may be required, on a limited basis for Hampel customers within the Molded Solutions and Sanitation segments. This is a part-time, hourly position that offers flexible hours.
Required Experience:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide ongoing support to Animal Care distribution partners and direct customers worldwide. Provide pricing as necessary, consistent with pricing policy. Secure and process orders for these accounts.
• Handle incoming product/pricing requests and engage in inside sales activity with Animal Care customers within approved guidelines.
• Support Territory Sales Managers globally with information required to determine product availability and to enable them to issue customer quotations under guidance of sales administrator
• Assist in the coordination of logistics requirements for Calf-Tel shipments and prepare necessary shipping documents as required under the approval of the sales administrator.
• Input and process orders under the supervision of sales administrator.
• Assist as required with collections within the Animal Care segment, and in resolving any payment/invoicing discrepancies.
• Process all RMAs for Animal Care customers and coordinate the issuance of return credits to the customer accounts.
• Provide back-up customer support for Molded Solutions and Sanitation customers in limited instances where the customer support resources for those accounts are unavailable.

Marginal Job Functions:
Organizational Relationships

• Reports to the sales administrator.
• Daily contact with Calf-Tel territory sales and marketing team members.
• Frequent contact with production scheduling and operations team members.
• Occasional contact with accounting, IT, and product realization.

External Relationships

• Daily contact with dealers and end customers within the Animal Care segment.
• Ongoing contact with outside service providers.
• Limited contact with outside vendors.

Minimum Level of Education/Training/Experience Required:

• High School diploma or equivalent required. College degree or working towards a college degree, preferred.
• Previous customer service experience preferred but not required.
• Agricultural back ground with passion for farming and knowledge of the dairy industry and calf-raising practices strongly preferred.
• Positive attitude, well-spoken and dedicated work ethic.
• Solid customer service and communications skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office - particularly Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook, as well as ability to effectively navigate and use Hampel's ERP system and CRM software.
